So let's get started with step one: Check the implications for your KVK registration.


Are you already an entrepreneur and registered with KVK?
Then you should check what will change when you start working abroad.


It depends on your personal situation and country of destination, as to whether or not you need to remain registered.


Are you not registered with the KVK yet?
Check out the website Business.gov.nl and see how you can register.


Proceed to step two: Check whether you need to deregister from the municipality.


If you remain outside of the Netherlands for more than eight months a year, you should deregister from your municipality.


Make sure that your address changes are passed on to the appropriate authorities.


Let's go to the next step: Arrange your tax affairs.


Emigrating or temporarily working abroad may affect your tax situation.
Contact the Tax Administration to make sure everything is settled properly.


We move on to step four: Check local rules and regulations.
