Hello, we’re back at the World Congress on Research Integrity in Hong Kong and I'm sitting here with Astrid Hooghiemstra from The Embassy of Good Science. Can you briefly tell me about the things you do in daily life? Of course. I'm mainly a senior researcher at the Alzheimer Centre Amsterdam, part of Amsterdam UMC. There I investigate dementia, but I also contribute to two large European projects and those projects have been built by The Embassy of Good Science and that is why I'm here. Great. What is your Embassy’s aim? The Embassy of Good Science is a website by researchers for researchers. It's a virtual collection of all laws, guidelines, resources, and training courses about ethics and integrity. It's also a place where the community gathers to talk about these subjects, and everybody can contribute to the website too. Great. And besides researchers, do you also see funding organisations like us? Yes, certainly. It really is a platform. Our primary target group is definitely researchers but there is also room for research integrity officers, journal editors, and funding organisations. It’s a place where everybody comes together and talks about the subject to further encourage integrity in research. Okay, thank you and good luck. It's a great initiative. Thank you.
